"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Wow, an American female columnist is actually FOR polygamy!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Fellas, this is a classic example of chick-think. The argument is so facile that it's fallacious due to reduction to absurdity. Women in polygamous marriages chose to do it, all choices are equally choices, therefore polygamous marriages are equal to monogamous marriages. Women in underground polygamous marriages lack certain protections and benefits, every woman should equally have the same protections and benefits, so polygamy should be legally protected and benefitted. Mormonism and Islam are religions that practice polygamy, religions should have religious freedom, so their polygamy should be a freedom endorsed by the state. Blah blah blah.

I've never understood why polygamy is illegal in the first place. It's supposed to be a free country after all (ROTFLMAO). Who is it hurting? The only explanation that makes any sense is that they want to control men by keeping the betas pacified by guaranteeing them a woman apiece. I don't think that's a good reason though.

It's a very good reason. The nuclear family is the bedrock of our society and one of the main reasons for the decline of the US is the fact that women simply don't work as hard as men and most men don't feel the need to work hard if they don't have a family to take care of.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I agree with you about the decline of the nuclear family. But I think a polygamous family is still a family. There's a father and a mother at least. It certainly sounds like more of a family than being raised by a single mother.

Don't ever disagree with zekko, but this time I do. Here is the very reason why polygamy should remain illegal. "Bleeding of the beast" as the FLDS would say (the beast being the federal and state governments).

And for those of you who want a good read, check out No Man Knows My History by Fawn Brodey. You won't be able to put it down.

I completely agree with this post. I just envision a possible future where just like the top 1% control a lot of the money, they will "own" the majority of the women, at least the hot ones.

Interesting. I didn't read quite all of that, but it sounded like a lot of the polygamist wives were on welfare. I found that a little surprising, since I would have figured that it would be the wealthy men who had multiple wives. Why would you marry that many wives if you couldn't support them?

Of course, a lot of these women were secretly polygamous, hiding it because it was illegal. If polygamy was legalized, would they still be eligible for welfare? Besides, it's not like you don't see single mothers on welfare.

Look who gets away with screwing the government: America's showpiece nutjob religious cult, whose members stay in for guaranteed sex for life and (wink wink) tons of cheating by the women in revenge. Same set-up as Muslims have where they dominate the government.

In theory, we should all be very concerned. In practice, they're screwing themselves into being totally inbred and crazy and their genetic lines will disappear. The government borrows so heavily for wasteful spending, welfare for banksters, etc., that it's impossible to care.

The only question I have is: what's the source of the surplus women? If they're poaching from other Mormon towns -- which seems to be the case, and you're not going to find a lot of Modern Gurrrlz leaving Las Vegas for it -- that leaves a lot of men jerking off to Internet porn, extremely dissatisfied with the cult.

EDIT: It's a pyramid scheme. Only the upper-class males get many wives. The rest get to build add-ons for them.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

Its very important that we bring polygamist households into the family-destroying divorce-empowerment machine.

Dear 5String,
Liked your comments on Fawn Brodie,I really appreciated her book on Josiah Smith....She also wrote a magic book "The Devil Drives",on Sir Richard Burton, one of my heroes...He was someone who would have enjoyed this forum, one of his sidelines was researching sexuality....An amazing bloke, spoke 32 Languages, discovered the source of the Nile, translated Arabic novels like"Le Jardin Parfumier".....Sexy stuff in the nineteenth Century...Like many of us his wife was his Achilles Heel...In a fit of prudish pique,on his Death, she burned his unfinished works...A tragedy!

Dear Scrouds,
I love your cynical but very appropriate comment,"Its very important that we bring polygamist households into the family-destroying divorce-empowerment machine."Of course to some being able to have multiple Wifes has some erotic appeal....Rubbish say I,one wife is quite enough burden for anyone, two are too many, three you're dead...A true Don Juan would rather be stuffed up a dead horses Arsve Hole than marry!

I thought most of the guys here wanted harems. Isn't this essentially what polygamy is?

Now, I'm not pushing for polygamy, it's not something I'd be interested in. In the current climate, I wouldn't marry one woman, let alone many. But I have yet to understand what is so wrong about it, or why it should be illegal.

Fawn Brodie was actually excommunicated from the Mormon church for her writings. So much for free speech! No Man Knows My History, is the story of Joseph Smith and the forming of the Mormon church/faith. One of the finest non fiction books I have ever read.

Check this out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fawn_M._Brodie

You'll figure it out when your harem leaves you to be Bill Gates 995th-1000th wives.

I would love to study up on polygamy. off the cuff, I would think that it echos the traditional reason for marriage, trade security for babies. It does seem to allow a man with more options (wealth or game or whatever) to get more then monogamy, which would be a benefit.

So you're saying that illegalizing polygamy is just to protect the betas?
To give average men a fair shot at a woman, otherwise the alphas will scoop them all up? I admire your guts and honesty for admitting it.

Many of the Biblical patriarchs practiced polygamy.

I agree with this statement. My only problem with polygamy is that as a taxpayer, I don't want to pay for someones 16 wives and little urchins with foodstamps and welfare.

You want multiple wives? Knock yourself out. If you can't support them, don't ask me to do it for you when you pull your pants down and impregnate your 13 yr old spiritual wife.

The bedrock foundation of civilization has been ensuring men have a wife and kids to slave and provide for. Allowing polygamy would allow for harems, which translates to minority of men would scoop up all the best women in an area. The shortage would leave men without any incentive to produce, thus civilization would collapse over time.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
