What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I would give my seat up for the elderly, be it an old lady or an old man.

But I don't give up my seat for young girls, or even pregnant women.

What's funny was when this guy offered his seat on a bus to this young working professional girl, she shot him down, and he was so embarassed.

It's probably due to this 'strong woman mentality' that is pervasive.

Old men and women, and pregnant girls, and handicapped and injured. Thats who I'd give up my seat for. Anyone who would have trouble standing on their own. Never out of chivalry.

I would.

I still do some things based of chivarly.

However, it really depends like the other brothers said before.

I guess I feel embarrased taking up a seat when I can very well stand. Im in very good shape and standing for a bit doesnt bother me.

Im from NYC and I relied on public transportation the majority of my life. Never did it to impress a woman - always did it for my own beliefs.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

If she's young and healthy, why the fvck should you? I know women tend to be built a little less sturdy than men, but a young woman should be able to stand on a bus/train. If anything, giving up your seat for a young and healthy woman is patronizing.

Now the elderly, regardless of gender, are not in the best of physical shape and standing on the bus/train is much more taxing for them than it would be for young people. The same applies to the handicapped and injured.

I do it for the elderly or infirm. But yeah never for someone simply because they're the "weaker sex." Those days are over forever, IMHO.

Thats because us men live riskier lives and tear our bodies down harder.

Theres too many social dynamics and variations involved. For instance...

One day I was a couple stops away from where I get off (heh). all seats are taken and there was 1 dude standing and 1 chick standing. Before I got up i offered it to the dude (no homo) this was a strategic move. he shrugged like alright. I get up, an started talking to the girl, turns out she was getting off at my stop and I got those digits ended up smashing a couple weeks later.

another case where chivalry loses

On public transport here, we're required to give up our seat for the elderly, the pregnant and the disabled or injured, and there's a $150 fine if you don't comply. Not for healthy females.

This one time I was on a tram, minding my own business when a young girl got on. There was no seat left, so she was standing up holding on to a pole. I was looking out of the window zoning out & didn't notice this. A middle-aged woman behind me told me to get up and offer her my seat, and before I could say anything, complained about me being a typical unchivalrous young male in modern time. So I told her that it'd be an insult to that young lady and the feminists who had to fight so hard for equality with men, only for someone like her to infer that they're not strong enough to stand up on a tram. Old hag was fuming but had to shut up. People on the tram looked at me like I was public enemy #1.

That was way back before I knew anything about Game or Men's Rights. The irony is that I was raised in the old school style and I would've got up then & offered the young woman my seat, if it hadn't been for the loud-mouthed older woman telling me off.

Unfortunately, what she failed to realize was that chivalry was based off of the girl being chaste, modest, and submissive. In other words, chivalry was based off of an expectation that the girl act a certain way.

No knight was running off to perform dashing deeds for sluts or drunken party girls.

Now of course it is no surprise to any of us that girls follow only one rule, expediency. Therefore, they will continue to demand chivalry without following the associated rules of conduct required of them, in hopes they will still be able to receive chivalrous treatment.

The bottom line is this: we know girls are expedient, so why the anger towards them? What is the point of getting angry at girls who are fundamentally amoral? We should focus on keeping girls *in check* instead of just fuming at them for their *entitlement attitude.* In other words, focus on being a strong man. Desperate men who would give their right nut to sleep with Jessica Alba are not strong enough to keep girls in check.

Every ancient culture knew that you had to keep girls in check otherwise the civilization collapses.

Yes indeed. Unfortunately not all men realize this or acknowledge it.

If any of you still cling to the fantasy that women are open to placing reasonable behavior above their emotional, whimsical actions, just watch and observe how they live their lives and make the choices that they do.

I used the subway every single workday in Boston. I never gave up my seat for a healthy young woman, but I would always do it for the elderly, pregnant, or moms with little kids. That's just being a decent human being.

However, there is this cultural expectation there with young women where they feel like they are ENTITLED to sit down on every train. Like if you dont give up your seat they are kind of put off they have to stand and hold their Gucci bags like everyone else. Fvck them. If you are not a senior citizen, disabled, or with kids, you can stand your healthy as$ up like the men and deal with it. I watch these kinds of behaviors in the subway and I notice that women will almost always sit immediately when they get to the stop or get on the train. It's automatic...they just sit down right away. I would purposely stand because I had been sitting at a desk all day.
