Would you ****/date your friend's ex?

My good friend was in sexless "relationship" with this girl for a day or two before she LJBF'd him (well he is major afc). Sadly, he really became friends with her hoping that someday she'll get her back by showering her with attention and kissing her ass. That happened last summer, now he's cured (I think) and doesn't hang out with her anymore.

The problem is, she's giving me signals, and I do like her (she' hot hot hot) but I wonder how would my friend react if we started dating.


I'd like to hear your opinion, guys! Would it bother you if one of your best friends started dating your ex-oneitis? And would it bother you if you HE fvcked her few times?

Anyway.. I always get mad if A FRIEND of mine dates my ex, especially if I haven't "fvcked her a few times". She can date anyone else, but not a friend of mine.. that's why there are friends out there - to help me out, not steal my platonical gf.

Last night an ex-buddy of mine started hitting on my current gf. I have never hit on ANY of my buddy's gf's nor ex'es!
Now you know why I call him "ex-buddy"

I really need to keep a note of the post where i wrote "The Rules" so i can copy and paste it into threads like this one.

Basically i will highlight the bits that apply to this situation.


What you need to do in this situation is ask your mate for concent. He didnt shag her which is good for you. But even if they went out for 2 days....thats enough to make it that you should ask.

He will say you can pursue it anyways. If he does or doesnt want you to....he will say do it. Reason. He will martyr himself for your happiness. (Not that that means anything) If he tried the bull of saying you owe me for it. you just say.....heh....at least i asked.

This way wont piss him off........any other way will get to him and i dont advice it unless he is a "desposable friend"


I have done the above twice and it worked fine both times....both mates respected that i asked.

Here is the rules in my opinion. Live by them and all is well.

Its a simple case of following the RULES:

A single girl......Fair game
A single girl a mate fancys.....Fair Game
A girl in a relationship with an unkown person.....Fair Game
A girl in a relationship with a mate.....NO GO
An ex of a mate......NO GO without permission
