Well not exactly the same situation but..I got a girls number..invited her out a few days later but never heard back from her, so I didnt bother pursuing. Lo and behold 5 or 6 months later she sent me a text at 1 am asking me to come "cuddle" lol, and she claimed I never actually "asked her out".(goes to show how bizarre girls can be at times). I didnt bother because at that point I honestly had totally forgotten about her and didnt feel like it, but I guess it goes to show its never too late.
