Hey,

Whats the absolute worst/most AFC move you ever made? Could be could be good for some laughs and reviews. I'll start it of.

I made good progress with this 6. Everything was cool, I made the call 3 days later(ie, on the 4th day) at round 8pm. She seemed pretty enthusiastic till I messed up the "where" of the date("[place] or [other place], well fnd something). Still managedable till she asked when I went:" uhh, umm say 3?". I got the "lemme check my schedule and call you back" at that point.

Next! It's cool first time after a long rut.Now I went to dinner with the fammily and being bored stupid I called her up round 7pm(this was 2 days later). This went bad as the network was loaded and I said I'd call her back. Another 3 days later I did. Now I really blew it, She asked how I'm doing and I'm "yeah, great you wanna go to [place]?" Acted like it was the end of the world and she said to call me back(fortunatly whatever DJ the seds left in me kicked in and I told her to give me a ring when she can get it strait).

To top it of, I was'nt feeling too hot the next morning and 5 beers later and I called up the calss blaber to tell em what hapened. She thinks I was ona dare asking her out lol!

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

On reflection that's probably not it, it's the "when" part.

Had'nt really planned out the when and where (still coming out of a rut). When she asked where'd we'd go I said: "Uhh, [restaurant] or [semi-restaurant eatery]" just of the top of my head. She didnt sound as enthusiastic but still not exactly unwilling. Then when she asked I said about 3pm(again blurted) so then she gives me the "I'll call you back". Was quite polite about it though like next day she finds me and apologises for not calling.

BTW, she looked like she wanted and asnwer but didnt give her any. Some more things hapened and I'm thinking this was a female DJ. Either way she's NXDD

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
