I love all of this. Great stuff guys. This is some TERRIBLE advice.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
That wasn't advice, it was a direct threat.I just thought of one. Not quite advice from an elder but the ole "stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about". Used very often by my parents.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
^This. Even if that ideal person for you DOES exist, what is the probability that you will meet that person? Probably very low."don't worry. there is someone special for everyone"
BS. You still gotta be somone worth knowing. This fairytale bs is what gives fat neck beards an excuse to never leave the basement. And there's not just one. If you have good frame there will be more than one.
Yes, especially in the short term.^This. Even if that ideal person for you DOES exist, what is the probability that you will meet that person? Probably very low.
Yep it was. I think most of my childhood I spent avoiding the wrath of my crazy parents. I did learn something though. How not to treat my children. That wasn't advice, it was a direct threat.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
Fair enough. It can happen in the long term. No guarantee, but it's worth it for us to try.Yes, especially in the short term.

Persisting could also mean chasing. The absolute worst advice I ever got was to "confidently persist". "Be sexual" etc. Much of this is so context based it shouldn't be written. Most of the time nexting is the answer and for god sake protect yourself as it's totally unwise to persist with one woman. If it's the wrong woman, it could cost you.
"buy a renault. They are great cars. "
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Women love a chump who will do repairs to their abode free or charge on the pretense they might get s ex. Newsflash. ...work away you are not getting any.6. "Women love a guy that is handy around the house
That's the some solid advice right there. You don't score any points for doing repairs or hanging stuff on walls for women. There are 6 other dudes in her contact list that are ready and willing to come over and help her. Let them do it and get nothing from it. Nice guys finish last here! If it doesn't make the vagina tingle, don't waste your time.Women love a chump who will do repairs to their abode free or charge on the pretense they might get s ex. Yeah, I love that one about the "universe". That's become a buzz word for this new age "spirituality" that is a watered down religion which is essentially summed up as "good things come to those who wait".Any variant of "the universe will provide you X, Y, and Z".
Bullsh*t. No it won't. Or it won't in the frequency/timescale that I want it to.
That is the typical female mindset. It comes from wearing make-up, being passive, and waiting for someone with testosterone to do something.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
