Working full time but want to work in nightlife too, doable and fun?

After reading @cola post about it, I realize I want to do this and I am hoping cool guys like him and @RangerMIke answer this thread instead of older losers who will whine about how horrible nightlife is.

I work full time but have a lot of energy left over for the weekends, want to work in nightlife part time and am wondering if bars and nightclubs would hire someone like me or if they want people who don't actually have a job.

Any thoughts?
