"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

there's this girl whom i often meet, but i never try to hit on her coz i've been preoccupied with other girls & some of my own stuff. Both of us sometime make eyes with each other & tease each other, passing some sarcastic remarks at each other just for the fun of it. She never seem to take all these personally, neither did i.. She also appears nonchalant like she's not eager to enter into a relationship. I also appear aloof & show the "don't-give-a-damn" attitude...she also seems to use 'push-pull' so as to flit from being interested & uninterested from time to time..i also employed this 'push-pull' style... seems like both of us are like taking one step forward, then one step back, so as to protect our own hearts & prevent from getting hurt...

then last night, she asked me,"are you free on wednesday?". i said i have a lunch appointment, & i'll be able to meet her from the afternoon onwards. then i asked her why did she ask. and she replied,"i'm going shopping. You can join me if you want." As i heard this, i remember it was a line which i learnt from David D. of DYD.. it was a line to demonstrate that you are not an AFC & have your own life, & she can be part of it if she wants...

so i replied,"well i said i'm going to have lunch with my friends. You can also join me & my friends together for lunch if you want. After that, i might go shopping with you."

then she said, "NO, it's ok. I won't join you guys for lunch. Just tell me if you will come shopping with me."

then i finally gave a mid-way answer,"Well, i'm not sure how long that lunch is gonna take, but i will definitely give you a call on Wednesday & fix a time to meet."

now, it seems that women are also quite proficient in the wielding of DJ techniques. So, in cases like this..isn't it like the strong pitting against the strong...

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Lmao, nice.

But I remember reading something that went along the lines of:

"In seduction, only one person can be gaming. If both people are gaming each other....:moon: "

So true....I guess the message is have fun! But don't feel like you've always gotta be "winning" the power struggle. It can be sexy to lose sometimes :)

Women have had thousands of years to figure this stuff, and have been manipulating chumps since the year dot.

For decades they have been using the media to consolidate their power, filling their magazines and books full of tips on how to control us males. Meanwhile most men still choose to read about war and stuff and wonder why they don't understand women.

Women rightly demanded equality, and got it. But they never forgot all those tricks for controlling men, which is why it's up to us chosen few to educate our AFC brothers.

Or use our powers to steal their girlfriends, whatever.

Guys, obviosuly one person needs to give in and except the "date" if you would call it that. I would be a wee bit worried that push-pull might take too long and she would hook up with someone else.

What are the drawbacks for just excepting this "date" as it would be a good thing to do togeather as it would give you plenty to talk about during it.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

hmm. the shopping date doesnt look that promising unless you can get her to plan something afterwards that you want to do. What I mean is if she takes you shopping and uses you to carry all her crap around, then meets up with all her friends, it just might be one big bore trip. If on the otherhand she can plan something afterwards, holds a cool conversation while shopping, and doesnt use you as her carryall, it might be fun. I guess it kind of depends on the type of girl she is. One of thoes shop at the mall all day kinds or is the "shopping" she is refering too somethine else?
