there's this girl whom i often meet, but i never try to hit on her coz i've been preoccupied with other girls & some of my own stuff. Both of us sometime make eyes with each other & tease each other, passing some sarcastic remarks at each other just for the fun of it. She never seem to take all these personally, neither did i.. She also appears nonchalant like she's not eager to enter into a relationship. I also appear aloof & show the "don't-give-a-damn" attitude...she also seems to use 'push-pull' so as to flit from being interested & uninterested from time to time..i also employed this 'push-pull' style... seems like both of us are like taking one step forward, then one step back, so as to protect our own hearts & prevent from getting hurt...
then last night, she asked me,"are you free on wednesday?". i said i have a lunch appointment, & i'll be able to meet her from the afternoon onwards. then i asked her why did she ask. and she replied,"i'm going shopping. You can join me if you want." As i heard this, i remember it was a line which i learnt from David D. of DYD.. it was a line to demonstrate that you are not an AFC & have your own life, & she can be part of it if she wants...
so i replied,"well i said i'm going to have lunch with my friends. You can also join me & my friends together for lunch if you want. After that, i might go shopping with you."
then she said, "NO, it's ok. I won't join you guys for lunch. Just tell me if you will come shopping with me."
then i finally gave a mid-way answer,"Well, i'm not sure how long that lunch is gonna take, but i will definitely give you a call on Wednesday & fix a time to meet."
now, it seems that women are also quite proficient in the wielding of DJ techniques. So, in cases like this..isn't it like the strong pitting against the strong...
