By the way, something I've never noticed here - if you want to find a wife with "wifey" skills, you should also have "husbandy" skills. Basically you want a woman to do her duty, you also have to do yours.

INDEED! Guys! PLEASE! Learn how to fix things! How to install a phone jack, fix a car, how to reset a garbage disposal, how to unclog sinks and toilets, how to do minor repairs around the house. Trust me! One dark and rainy night...you will be someone's shining hero!

ok boys lets get back on the wifey skills subject before someone says this has become political and they close it.

If this discussion can get back on the social track then we can leave it open.

We understand that women have different roles in different countries....so let's get back to the roles of companion/mate/wife roles in the US as compared with other countries.

Hopefully we can discuss the social aspects of this topic without getting into too much of the politics of the different countries.

Well I have said many times that I think that men and women are most happy togeather when they act true to their nature. A woman looking after children and making ahome the warm place it is. A man providing for and protecting the family.

There are many people who think that the only difference between a man and a woman is physical. They couldn't be more incorrect. There are also mental aspect as well. Women for example have minds that allow them to handle the multi-tasking role of raising many children. Men have the ability to focus on their jobs to provide and invent new technologies. That is the natural order of things in humanity. Some would even argue that men and women are different spirtually. For these people, our souls are still male and female and as such we have the spirtual traits associated to men and women respectivley.

Regardless of what we think, when we pick a woman we must be sure that they are not fighting their human nature. Women that fight the power at young age will be very imature for family life. She just won't have the skills required to be a good mother. I know women that hate children. Even the thought of having one inside them was disturbing to them. It was a form of opression.

A man should learn to qualify women in terms of their maturity. If they wan't to be a provider then next their ass for anything serious. For example, one girl told me that she had the exact same goals as I did. (to provide protect.. etc.) I was like, "ok... go and find a woman " Needless to say I moved on.

The bottom line is that most modern women are to imature for anything serious.

I've listed three skills that I think are solid skills for a "Good Wife" to have. Please feel free to add your own thoughts to the list. ("Being a HB10" is NOT a skill! That is simply good genetics.:nono: )


:flowers: Wifey Skills should consist of:

1. She should be able to balance a checkbook, make sure all the household bills are paid, and that the house runs on a budget agreed upon by the two of you.

2. She should be able to cook....from scratch at least three meals. She should have at least ONE other meal that is considered "her specialty". (Due to the cold realities of life, Stouffers Microwave Tuna Casserole is okay upon occasion, but not as daily fare.)

2a. When setting the table, she should know where the silverware goes. You might not notice, but your Mom will, and so will your Boss if he comes for dinner!

3. She should be your staunchest defender. No one should be able to diss you with her in the room. In the words of my own very fiesty Mom: "I don't CARE if he's wrong! He's my husband, so there!"
