"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Women who make you wait forever while they buy clothes

Yesterday I had an argument with my gf

Basically, I'm the kind of guy who can't tolerate when you're in a shopping mall with a girl and she's like "omg look specials!" in a clothing store and then spends an hour looking at all the clothes and shoes etc while you're sitting there waiting for her.

I have no patience for this.

So what I do is, when I'm with a girl and she tells me she wants to check out such or such store, I just say something like "fine, take your time, I'm going to go check out other places, text me when you're done." And so while she's taking her time choosing clothes I don't have to wait around for her I can do other stuff, like go in stores that actually interest me or get some pizza at the food court, etc.

So anyway the problem with my current girlfriend is that she's got a US cell phone and this is Canada, so she shuts her phone off when she's here to avoid roaming charges. So basically you can only communicate with her through landline or email. And so it turns out we were walking in this big shopping mall and all of a sudden she wants to buy shoes. So I go in with her and she starts opening one box after another and finally she's got three shoes to choose from, and so she puts one pair on, then the other, and the other, and then she puts the first pair again. Finally, she's been ogling those three ****ing shoes for fifteen minutes and I'm like "just pick one they're all good" and she's like "no, I got to be sure."

So basically I'm like "OK I'll wait for you outside." I went out but since she has no cell phone I couldn't really go too far because she wouldn't be able to text me when she's done, and there wasn't really anything interesting in that section of the mall but anyway.

So then after about fifteen more minutes she walks out of the shoe store and she's super pissed off because she didn't see me right away when walking out of the store, and she says something like "I don't understand why you left me alone in there I really wished you would've helped me choose."

I got mad and I said that it's not my fault she's too cheap to get a canadian cell phone, but I find it disrespectful that she would expect me to just sit there like a puppy while she's taking her time like that and I have nothing to do. Her answer is something like "well you must not have much experience with women because all women do this." I told her I didn't give a **** what other women and she better get a canadian cell phone because of she does that **** again I'll leave her.

Anyway, she didn't say a word on the drive back and looked super offended/shocked/etc.

Is it me that is just too intolerant? I'm the nicest guy you could find but I have zero patience for when women expect men to wait for them while they spend hours choosing clothes. My mom used to do that to me when I was a kid and it would send me in screaming fits. It just feels so disrespectful that someone thinks you can just wait around for them like that. I don't do this to them - if I want to spend thirty minutes in a video game store I go by myself.

What do you guys think?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I wait for my fiancee but she has to either buy sexy cosplay clothes as well or new underwear for me.

If she does not I go for a walk, coffee or read something in the park.

I don't have this problem. I don't go shopping with my gf too often. The few times I do go, she is very quick. She doesn't spend ages deciding what to buy. She's even a quick dresser and doesn't spend ages like many other women.

The only thing I can suggest is to simply not go to the mall with her. I never saw the point in going shopping with a woman. It's simply pointless to me. Unless we're going shopping for myself then I don't go.

Let her go shopping by herself. Nothing worse than watching a woman drag a beta man around by the nose shopping at the mall.

Don't be "mall boyfriend" It's tragic.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I do what OP does. If I have a hint that she's going to buy lingerie or something similar, then I'll follow her around... even into the dressing room.

Worse case, have some games on your phone or peruse the internet while you wait in the "Man Chair"

^ Never sit in the "man chair" unless she is trying on sexy lingerie to show you.

I try and avoid shopping with my gf but she is pretty quick/low maintenance so I don't mind the odd occasion.

Also when she sh!t tests you again about not being her puppy in the shoe store don't act defensively. Agree with her and then turn it up a notch. Do this with confidence and a playful attitude and if she plays along or looks at you with a 'did you really just say that' look, you're doing it right.

E.g.

Her: You left me alone in there or Why did you leave me

You: Aww it's cute how much you miss me

or

You: I know right it's terrible. That's it, I'm going to handcuff myself to you so this tragedy never happens again.

You get the drift.. Never take them seriously. Seriously.
