Women were happier before, yet they still want more freedom. Why?

Back a long time ago, I know that women were on average happier than they are today. They liked being housewives and having extremely simple responsibilites and the such. Yet nowadays they try to know more about working, going out, partying, and the such and eventually follow through with these. I remember reading the story of jophil28 and his girl being happy with him. She somehow met a feminist and she basically told her "no you aren't happy you just think you are" (isn't that the same ****ing thing??) and eventually destroyed their relationship. She was happy before and now she isn't because of stupid feminism. Now, statistically speaking, women aren't as happy as they once were when they were living sheltered lives. So then why do they follow feminism? They don't notice that they aren't as happy?

I'm sorry the question isn't really clear but I'm just wondering. They are basically destroying the society they are creating.

Women today are more miserable because they are more entitled. They think TV and movies are a good representation of reality.. and so they expect their lives to play out like these fictional characters they watch growing up.

When life does NOT play out that way.. they get angry and bitter. Pathetically.. modern men are EXACTLY the same. Chasing this fictional virgin princess all their lives instead of f*cking and chucking like they should. :crackup:

Poon is right, Women are becoming more masculine everyday and its disgusting. You should really blame the media because they treat men like a bunch of needy validation seekers and women as rulers of the world. The thing is, most women don't get it that they NEED a man (not a boy) in their life but instead they go by what they "should" be doing.

Women who are dumb enough to follow media and it's illusions aren't worth my time. Media does nobody any good in times of peace, they treat men as needy validation seekers and women as sexual objects. Men don't want to be treated as needy, women don't want to be treated as objects. Both genders has to my knowledge a deep desire for love, but unrealistic expectations are ruining it for everyone. There's two sides to this problem, but rather than change the world we can change ourselves.

Women are growing more miserable and power-hungry exclusively in response to men growing more beta-ish.

The BETA MALE mentality is to blame for EVERYTHING. The situation females have is merely a symptom of it.
