Seriously, I would like to advice anybody who is actually scared of women to go to a psychiatrist. Nobody should put himself so low.

I think it's important to really go back and look at your life to find out just what it is, what event gave you such a psychological blast ( an effect so strong that it literally reprogrammed your entire way of thinking) to make you feel like this.

You need to find out what exactly do you feel about these women, or women in general.
For example, are you jealous of them?
Do you feel they are better than you?
Do you feel they have a better chance of success?
More opptions than you?
Are you having trouble repressing your sexual feelings towards them?
Are you having trouble repressing your feelings of hatred towards them?
Perhaps, you are having an inner conflict of latent homosexuality?
Do you have "respect" . "Mother" issues you relive in interactions with women?
Oedipal issues?
Incest issues?

Did you have a good, healthy relationship with your mother?
Did you have a bad relationship with a girlfriend?
DId you have an embarassing, awkward, mortifying experienece with a woman that makes you suffer PTS that you relive in every interaction with a female?
Did they make fun of you?

Do yuo see how serious these issues casn be?
Do you really think you can get through life, healthy and happy, doinbg what you feel in your heart like THIS??!

It's not healthy. And yes, there is something serioulsy wrong here. It needs to be corrected.

Canuckin, and anyone else who suffers from these feelings..
You need to do some self reflection and dig deep to find out those issues. You may be afraid of going in deep to find the pain, and the cause of your pain. But you will have to face it eventually.
Many of us have "ghost issues" that are actually in our peripheral Emotional /Psychological Vision. In fact, they affect us and we don't even realize they are there. We have grown so accustomed to their presence, that we feel it is a part of us and noormal and natural to have these un noticed feelings. But the thing s is we don't ven see them, even though they are right in front of our eyes.

Number one, let's take things into our own hands first. Please. do yourselves a favor, and takle my advice seriously. Please, don't make me regret my effort or time on helping you.
DO this, ok?
We're here to help.
But don't be flippant about it. Take it seriously.

I would like you guys to take advantage of some good resources:

Finally, I want you to PM Rollo Tomassi, and ask for some advice on seeking professional hlep. These are serious issue that need to be dealt with, and I firmly believe, that the resources I provide with some good advice from Rollo will put you on the right path. You may eventually not need to go to a professional, you nmay actually be able to solveyour problems yourself.

Give this a chance, and give yourself the chance as well.
Good luck.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I just wanted to comment on this just in case someone is in a similar situation.

Do you feel they are better than you?
YES, big time, to both.

Perhaps, you are having an inner conflict of latent homosexuality?
Sexuality is a part of it, but it's more with gender.

Since my early childhood I thought about gender. As a kid I prayed every night that'd I'd wake up a girl and used every opportunity I had to make a wish that I would be a girl. Spent most of my life constantly thinking about being female, having lots of jealousy towards the girls/women around me. That only intensified with age.

Thanks to introspection and therapy, I accept that I'm trans. I also realize I'm bisexual and accept that too. I've now been on hormones for about three years and live as a woman. I feel much better. My anxiety towards women went away when accepting myself.

Did you have a bad relationship with a girlfriend?
Never had a girlfriend (or boyfriend). My dysphoria made that very difficult. Still haven't been in a relationship :(

I used to place ***** threads that I re-read with a feeling of wanting to kick myself in the nads.
I have a suspicion what caused it though. Misinformation through media about womanhood is portrayed vs. how they actually are, and being raised a 20-something male being told how great he was by his mother being at odds with the opinions and reactions of college girls.
