I think we are seeing signs that women are starting to realize they can't have it all. Articles like this, men checking out, women noticing that there aren't men they want to date, men not committing, men not going to college. Guys have figured out the return on investment and risk is too much for what modern day woman offers is not there.

Keep track of what happens with social media and dating apps. Those two things are women's primary source of daily validation. When guys quit validating women on those avenues we will know they have truly started to wise up and take back control.
