"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I think I'm just gonna Settle for the ones who want me the most. There have been 3 most recently, one of which, practically Worships me. My dad told me that's how he always did it - he just accepted the ones who wanted him most. He's divorced twice even, but at least both marriages to my brothers' mom and to my mom were both 10 and 19 years each. He just took in who ever came alone and wanted him. 1st being the beauty queen of his high school, 2nd being my pretty good-looking mom.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I think every guy that is disappointed with his options will reach that crossroad. He'll have to decide to do what it takes to get a higher caliber of woman, or take the path of least resistance and settle for whatever fly lands on his web.

I know I'm much younger than you, but I have good advice to give nevertheless. You're not your dad.

You seem confused where you stand on the matter, and you shouldn't make such a life-changing decision based on someone elses decisions.

You say you're boring? It's never too late to do some soul searching. I recommend buying Ross Jeffries' tapes to gain more psychological insight.

If you're going to try to settle down and raise children with someone, you need to be sure that you love her. If you have a crisis and feel like you made a mistake, be sure you're willing to put your children through the emotional and mental trauma that ensues.

You're boring?

Try watching stand up comedy and hanging around interesting/funny people. There are more problems that can follow you in life other than just not sleeping with alot of girls -- if you don't motivate yourself to be a more interesting person.

The thing is I'm new to this forum and I don't know the posters very well.... but this thread seems to be DRIPPING with satire.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

its not THAT hard. sure relationships do take time but if you plan it out it's easier to deal with. check the tips section on my relationship post. People think that relationships are just two people joining together but ultimately the relationship itself is a burden that you have to carry as well as your own baggage and your significant others.
