"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

They sure aren't very open with these details are they? Out of all the girls I've dated, there has only been two that said much about p0rn. One liked watching it when we had sex. The other had a box full of DVD's(yes, before p0rnhub) in her closet....she was a crazy freak complete with Bipolar too. A few were readers of smut/romance novels.

I was surprised the numbers were as high as they are. I've been believing their innocence too much all of these years. Same thing in regards to when they tell you they've been with only 5 guys, but its really 15.

I wasn't surprised they enjoy lesbian porn. There's a bit of lesbian in every "straight" girl. Even women value a nice female body.

An estimated 40% to 60% of women watch pornography, with studies and platform data showing rising female viewership across various demographics. [1, 2, 3]

Prevalence and Overall Rates
    • Annual/Past-Year Use: Up to 42% to 53% of women report watching pornography within a given year.
    • Past-Month Use: Studies estimate that 44% to 60.2% of women have viewed pornography in the past month.
    • Platform Demographics: Women make up roughly 35% to 38% of global traffic on major adult platforms like Pornhub, up from around 25%–29% in prior years. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

Age and Background Trends
    • Age Factor: Pornography consumption is highest among younger women and declines with age. For example, studies show over 70% of young adult women (ages 18–30) have viewed porn, while more than 81% of women aged 65 and older report never watching it. [1, 2, 3]
    • Childhood/Adolescence Exposure: Approximately 55% to 69% of women who watch porn report that they first encountered it during childhood or adolescence. [1, 2]
    • Written vs. Video Formats: While men consume video content most frequently, research shows women consume significantly higher amounts of written/erotic literature alongside visual media. [1] @Cheeky_James this sheds light on why more than looks matter to women. I'm going to convince you some day! haha

Viewing Patterns and Preferences
    • Context: Women are more likely than men to report couple-based viewing or using pornography to enhance solo masturbation and sexual learning. [1, 2, 3]
    • Common Searches: Female viewers frequently search for categories such as romantic erotica, lesbian content, ****, and specific narrative-driven themes compared to male-skewing searches

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

The girl I lost my virginity to in high school had her own porn collection. Several women have told me about their masturbation habits and porn use and you wouldn't believe some of the depraved stuff some of them are into.

Broadly it's men who get called out on their use of pornography but there's women out there who are just as bad.

Interesting thread but on a subject we probably won't be privy to.

research shows women consume significantly higher amounts of written/erotic literature alongside visual media
Most twentysomething girls I know simply do not read books.
But several do have a kindle or similar

My woman took me to Sense and Sensibility yesterday (or "how to nail chad")
The interactions were entertaining. Not porn but this is what women seem into.
So for this tale to have survived centuries and had millions of $$ thrown at its multiple iterations, it must resonate
