You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
Potato, I have had LTR';s with models and actresses. I am often the one being picked up in lounges. I as well, have many high profile friends. In the course of my walk I stopped by an all night grocery store to pick up a snack. As I stood in the dairy aisle deciding if I wanted a yogurt or a cheese snack I felt a hand upon my bottom, clearly a groping. I turned and saw three women walking away. One, by the way she walked, a certain swing to her hips, led me to suspect that she was the culprit.
A couple of aisles over I caught glimpse of them again. They were all rather average; HB5’s or so. While I was looking through the produce the one who had groped me kind of popped up out of nowhere and, I guess, sort of draped her self on me, initiating a hug. We hugged for awhile and as I let up, she only squeezed tighter. We hugged for a long time.
I must point out that I did have several mind altering substances in my system which made the whole affair seem dreamy. I think that under normal circumstances I would have rejected/ran away from her. But she was young, like around 20, and I’m sure to her, it was kind of a fantasy fulfillment kind of experience. I get a kick out of the idea that I played such a role to that girl.
Whoah, I just realized what that is.reset said:I just don't sense any "guy stuff" in the words, if that makes sense. It reads like a woman talking

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
This is the most intelligent thing that you’ve posted yet – almost. The idea is to be friendly and flirty with every woman that you meet regardless of any romantic/sexual interest or not. By being that way, by having an easy rapport with all women, when a woman comes along with which you do have a romantic/sexual interest, it’s quite easy to draw her in. One thing that you are missing in all of this is that women tend to be more interested in you the more other women are interested in you.ketostix said:Exactly, this is what typically happens to guys like potato. I'm amazed that some here actually think potato has any credibility. Potato's advice is a how to get in the friend's zone with women. Potato also is just like iqqi in defending all women in all situations. Potato is either a woman or a guy trolling, either way it's a troll.
How does potato's or iqqi's "advice" help anyone? Let's put aside the insulting sh!t iqqi just posted (and how she gets away with that I don't know) and their delivery, their advice is so basic and mainstream and been tried to death. It's basically ignore all the stuff women do, be all happy go-luck and friendly, expect nothing and then women will lead you to their bedrooms.
Good post Potato! Short, to the point, and accurate, IMO. I knew you had it in you to post something worth reading.potato said:This is the most intelligent thing that you’ve posted yet – almost. And where do we ever recommend on here to not be friendly, playful and flirty with all women? The idea is to be friendly and flirty with every woman that you meet regardless of any romantic/sexual interest or not. By being that way, by having an easy rapport with all women, when a woman comes along with which you do have a romantic/sexual interest, it’s quite easy to draw her in.
Oh I misssed that, duh. This has been a common spiel of mine. I don't post all my knowledge and beliefs in every single post or thread you know. This is the principle of social proof, the power of jealousy and competition, etc. But you just word it differently basically, "The more women that like you, then the more other women will like you.". Captain obvious. One thing that you are missing in all of this is that women tend to be more interested in you the more other women are interested in you.
Your GF is an 82 huh? Why not rate her a 100 or a billion out of 10? you like to brag don't you. This paragraph sounds like something a woman would say, eg., "My man is the best and I just like being an AW". I believe you are either replacing the word GF with BF or you're a lesbian. Do you play the male role in that relationship, it's kind of hard to tell on here? The thing too, which I hope came through in the OP, is that I have a girlfriend, Lilly. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate her about an 82. She is the perfect girl for me. So I have no need to get other women. Thus, all of my playing with other women is just fun and games.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
LOL. I think potato's grammer is too good to be iqqi. I have maybe one or two people that I sort of suspect could be potato, but I'm really not too sure. I bet someone on here could crack the riddle of who potato really is though.scottfall said:Anyone think Iqqi is Potato? :O

Allen knows better, it would be a waste of money. There are always people posting controversial things here free of charge.persistent exaction said:what if the owner of a forum hired some guy or woman to occasionally post "controversial" stuff on forums so as to increase traffic. That would never happen. Not in a MILLION years.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Maybe that is something that comes from maturity. When I meet a woman I don’t get all excited about their boobs or whatever, it’s always more how I see them as a person, their character. Maybe that sounds lame to you but I have been very successful with women. I only date/fool around with women who are thin and small breasted with pretty faces and expressive eyes. Still, I’ll flirt with just about anyone.Phyzzle said:Whoah, I just realized what that is.
In all of this guy’s posts, not once has he noticed the physical attributes of any woman.
Maybe my desires tend to be fulfilled so that I really don’t think about it all that much. One thing that I tried to emphasize in this thread as well as my last is that often the fun that I have with women has little to do with the potential sex I may or may not get in the end. Sure it has everything to do with sex appeal, but sometimes just flirting is fun enough. If I tried to hit on every woman, as some men seem to do, I would be as bitter and hateful towards women as some of the posters around here are.In fact, he doesn’t speak about his own wants or desires, at all. Every mention of desire is a about a woman getting lost in his deep blue eyes, or the feeling of stress leaving her body as she feels his strong lips pressing against hers. He doesn’t seem to have any feelings or wants or lusts of his own. He only knows how the women around him feel. Never himself.
Funny isn’t it? Here is a forum dedicated to helping men understand women, yet, when someone makes a post detailing how women react to a man that they are attracted to it is just useless information?Maybe he’s just extremely weird, and everything is true, but a worthless poster is a worthless poster, and we shouldn't mind pointing it out until the admin feels like banning him.
It is one thing to have a different opinion, but another to say that "learning about women is useless, so sites like this are useless, so Just Be Yourself, and hey look it got me a couple of non-committed 40 year old fck buddies"

The bolded parts in the quote are the contradictory statements of the week.potato said:Maybe that is something that comes from maturity. I like putting my arms around a woman and feeling her melt or looking into her eyes and having her just look back lost in the moment. We live in a hectic society that is always trying to pull us one way or another. Sometimes just sitting quietly with a woman with whom I feel a great deal about is what keeps me sane.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
