"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

In the last while my ex has been popping up in my fvcking dreams, last night I was with her and her ex, of course she's picking a fight she's angry with me for telling her what to do, her ex is begging her back like an AFC and I'm telling him she's not worth it. WTF why why why, I don't need to be dreaming of her, its never good, its always of her wanting to fight. Her recent ex begging her to come back, really? why was I dreaming of that.

I'm around women all the time I work with them I have female friends, I'm not currently in a relationship with any, my living situation isn't where I want to be, I'm working on that. Why oh why is my ex haunting my dreams, pissing me off.

Been going through weight loss, it usually brings on vivid dreams or I dream a lot, when I'm dreaming heavily and wake up in the morning I can feel fat loss happening.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Your dreams generally reflect your mind/subconscious trying to anticipate future or current problems and situations and basically running a problem solving program to prepare you for what life might throw at you.

As long as the relationship is a problem in your life this will happen.

For me the moment I wake up I instantly think about the last person I was with. It is the first thing that loads in my mind upon waking. It sucks

Yes. When everything is good and current with a girl those thoughts were there but barely noticeable because they were pleasant. After a split the thoughts are still there for awhile, but they are irritating as hell…

Right behind you
Whenever I don’t feel like having dreams, I just think about something while I’m trying to go to sleep. Whenever I just clear my mind and stop thinking, I see crazy ass images and visions as my mind starts to go wild and stuff, and based on that I can somehow tell if I’m going to have a good dream or a bad one. But if I don’t feel like having a dream for whatever reason, I just think about something while trying to sleep and then I don’t get any dreams lol.

Yep, quite a few of the Ex dreams are caused by your mind running through what went wrong in the process of you falling asleep. Depends on what you think about…
Thinking about a new girl is a very effective mental past eraser.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
