"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

i asked this girl to our winter formal and she said she'd think about it. well i was wondering should i give her time to think and then come up to me or should i go up to her and say something like so have u made up your mind yet thats wat my friends keep telling me but my instinct is telling not to do that is it right?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I'd like to place a bet that if you go up to her and ask if she has made up her mind yet, she'd give you an excuse. Think about it. If a girl you really liked came up to you and asked you to the dance would you say yes? Yes, you would. However, if a girl you didnt like asked you to dance what would you say? Either no, or give an excuse (i.e. "hmm... I'll think about it").
If a girl truly likes you/interested, she wont let you wait. She'll be jumping all over for you.

yea ask someone else. if she was serious about the "ill think about it" she would have either called you that night or told you the next day to tell you. most of the time this is an excuse. if you go ask her like a whimp "so did you think about it", she will just have you on her leash.

heres what you should do.

1. go find another girl to go to the dance with.
2. go back to the girl that told you she would think about it and tell her you have found someone else to go with.

DONE. not only will this make her think if she is NOT good enough for you, she will start to wonder what this girl has that she doesnt. make sure you dont tell her this prior to actually asking another girl, or else you might look like a fool if things dont turn out the way you planned.

at all costs, apply C+F if she asks you who it is, and never give direct answers.

example:
her: oh cool. who are you going with?
you: im going with a very...... (pause 2-3 seconds) ....... sexy girl. (smile)

most probably she will try to squeeze it out of you.

her: whats her name?
you: arent you the nosey one. ill tell you what, wait till the formal, and you will see her.
her: BLA BLA BLA
you: well listen i got to go. bye

her ego + confidence DOWN!

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Not harsh at all, isn't she being unfair by making you wait around for her? If she didn't want to go with you you're all set and if she did she should've just said yes and you're not to blame at all for her being unhappy.

your in highschool and depending on the type of girl your talking about she might be shy and/or inexperienced. When your talking to her one day bring it up and see what she says. Don't over analyze and don't be paranoid. If you don't talk to her yourself and finish this your gonna be wondering what coulda been. I'm sure this has made you feel pretty $hitty the last week not knowing. Well that feeling goes away even if its through rejection if you just go talk to her.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Don't linger on.

Like the other guys said, go ask someone else.

She had her chance.

Think about it, it's not worth your time, go find someone else.
