If we were robots, then that would work. You could "fix" something and that would be the end of it. Unfortunately, things are not so simple. In order to "fix" something you have to work at is slowly and continuously. The longer you work at it, the less effort it takes. It gets easier over time, but you don't really "fix" anything for good... more like treat it.

It's not a switch you can flip, but that would be awesome wouldn't it?


Anyways, keep it up. You've been making progress. It may not feel like it, but you've managed to accept that you have a problem and you're getting an idea of what it is. That's a hard step, but you're doing it.

Keep going and try to brainstorm solutions if you can.

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
