Am i going to get fired for throwing water on some girl?

Is that like standard fire material?

I threw like a handful of water on her and she told the supervisor. My shift ended before the supervisor could talk to me and i just bolted out of there.

Minimum wage job. Next shift is on saturday. Maybe they will forget.


Anyways what should I expect?

Tell them you want to see the rule, policy, procedure etc. that says this is a fireable offense and if they don't provide it you will sue if they fire you.

Another option is to just deny it if there were no witnesses .

He can pretend he is gay and then use that as basis for job discrimination. If his court system is very "progressive", the judge can do the mental gymnastics required to be in his favor.

That's an interesting idea, I wonder if anyone has ever pretended to be gay in order to save their job? I know where I work gay people have gotten by with some unbelieveable stuff without getting called on it, just because they don't want to deal with the discrimination hassles.

lol. i'm pretty sure this would be against any work policy. you can get hit for an assault and battery charge as petty as it is, it has happened before.

Under many state laws yes this would be a crime . that's why her filing a police report , or not, is a key piece to the equation.

But in the workplace, maybe its on the books as a violation or maybe its not. If the policy only says not to "hit" another worker well guess what he didnt do that.That's why if fired you stand your ground and DEMAND to see it or tell them you will sue the company and also sue the boss that fires you personally. Watch them back pettle like a duck in a gator's mouth and see how much of a "not a big deal" it becomes.

Funny you say that. I have never met a Jewish person, I've always thought that was strange. They make up a very low percentage of the state's population, and I imagine they are mostly clustered in the larger cities.

I know plenty of people who are part Cherokee though.

he hit her with the water didn't he? they can use that against him as a crime. you don't have to use fists or hands as hitting, just throwing something can be use as an assault.


true, but i don't think he has a leg to stand on either way. they can get him on just on harassment alone, they have a broad definition to what that is even if there is no policy on the books. all she has to do is cause a stink about what he did and sue them for not doing anythng about it, his suit wouldn't matter one bit. i don't think the company would want bad pr about them not handling their employees. its his own fault anyway so he can learn a lesson from it not to do it again.

are you from the mid west? Jewish people are mostly from new york, chicago, and los angeles and have their own cities they live in, they have their own districts where they have their shops and restaurants.
