Will I ever grow facial hair?

I'm 19 and my face is still very hairless. The only hair I get is a few annoying ones around my cheeks and some peach fuzz on my chin (that I get heavily criticized on might I add). I was wondering, if I didn't grow hair by now, will I ever grow it? I'm wondering whats the average age guys start growing mustaches?
I heard if you shave it it grows back longer, but I also heard that it was an urban legend. So far the latter has been true.

man dont worry about it..im 18 and im just starting to get some decent facial hair now and it'll be awhile before i let it grow out..i have a friend who is 29 who has less facial hair then me, but his father was the same way till he was 35 and now days he grows a full beard, no big deal

I'm 19 and I can grow out my chin hair and my mustaches as an adult, yet I can go on without shaving my sideburns for a month and they won't be noticeable. On the other hand, my brother used to wear his beard long when he was 15... Everyone is different and it's very difficult to predict when you'll be able to grow your beard out.

i wish my face was bald. i have been reprimanded at work because my facial hair grows by the second. shaving sucks and is a waste of time. sure it looks attractive to the ladies when you have a little stubble but they hate it when you go down on them cause it gives them beard burn

dont b in a hurry my friend is a wog (hairy buggerz) and he shaves every single day seriously he gets hair grow on his cheeks illbet if he didnt shave 4 a month he look like a werewolf

What ethnicity are you? I wonder if that is a factor. I am also 19 and I am Mexican-American and I too cannot grow much facial hair. I haven't shaved my mustache for 3 weeks and you can't even tell because of the thinness of growth, and all I can grow is peach fuzz on my chin, just like you. But my sideburns grow superfast.

shaving is a pain in the ass. I have thick and dense facial hair. Need to shave every day. I have never had one hair on my top lip though. It is so thick the rasor gets snaged on the hairs, if I let it go for more than one day.
