"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

The mere fact that people are questioning whether so many threads should be locked serves as checks and balances by causing mods to question whether the thread they are locking really needs to be locked. That way we can lean more towards threads being locked for the right reasons more than any personal bias any mods being human might lean towards now and then.

It's just a little bit of peer review (not in the scientific usage).

Sure it's someone else's board to own and operate as they see fit, but I doubt they want to serve as gods over us mere mortal users.

I've never liked the "go somewhere else" or "if you don't like it, move" arguments. That is nothing but running away from problems and soon there is no where left to run to since there are problems everywhere. Might as well speak up in hopes of change, but there's no use in being a smarmy pr1ck about it or being sarcastic as if the written word has tone others can pick up.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Until this thread is locked. I've noticed a lot of ... henpecking. They can rename this place the Lifetime Forum pretty soon.

Half of the threads locked were mine, even though supposedly me and Rollo and a few others are in cahoots to control the sosuave universe.

When the trolls come, the threads become nothing more than useless arguments, and to maintain the integrity of the board they get shut down. Pretty simple.

Mr Ruckus, if you actually read the threads, you would realize that there is a reason for locking the threads. They are just locked because the mods didn't like a certain poster. Your trying to make a general statement but have no facts to back it up.

Censorship is something the state does.
Usually, yes, but the word itself is not specific to government action only.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
