Why has this forum nlocked some normal words?

I dont really get why this forum has blocked so many words from being used. Itäs not like it's a Christian forum or anything.

Half the threads are about how to **** (ofcourse i have to write: FCUK) as many girls as possible, so why this wuss-attitude towards normal language.

I've thought it was stupid ever since I joined this board. It's funny because whenever I type out swear words on another forum i always write "bytch shyt fycker" and people are like "why do you type it like that?" Damn you sosuave!!!

Regarding the word censor, it's been brought up before in the old Suggestions & Feeback forum. To make a long story short, it's not going to change. If you don't like it, sorry, but that's the way Allen wants the forum. Increase your vocabulary and you won't run into problems trying to express yourself.

Don't you think 0utward should be unblocked now though? No one seems to know about that thing now.

And I don't have a problem with swear words being censored, but I think words like d*ck, p*ssy, cl*t, etc. should be unblocked because they are fairly relavant to the topics on this forum.

Well, no one's writing romance novels here. But I say get rid of it! I like the word 0utward.

I love to attack cultural truisms, and I firmly believe the phenoma known as "cursing" is such a creature.

Can someone give me a believeable (based on logic/reason/intelligence) explanation why certain words are "ugly" and how other words are not?

Just think about it. It's absolutely completely totally absurd.

In English I've noticed a lot of so-called curse words are focused around the toilet and around sex. In Scandinavia the "dirty" words are mostly focused around different ways of addressing the devil or hell.

Anyhow, still absurd. Just had to rant.

Point very much taken - lol. But when you look at more "neutral" things like toilet/sex/(religion)-related words one can still call this one absurd if you ask me.
