"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Also I don't see where I have responded to anything in a negative or critical tone.
Sorry, I changed the wording to read: "There is no need to respond to every post that was given in a critical tone." You can just let people criticize. Go on, let yourself be ripped apart.

Look, if someone wants to call some anonymous character a hick, or chav, or ghetto, or Canadian, just let it go. There is no need to condemn negative gags like that.

And do not ask vague, meandering questions so that people can come up with speculative attempts at advice, attempts that you can then shoot down as unhelpful because you won't tell us what - if anything - your actual problem might be. If someone reaches a conclusion that's obviously wrong, or obviously doesn't apply to you, then realize that it's almost certainly your fault for leaving out a relevant detail.

I'm not so much talking about this thread, as any thread you make in general about situations in your life that turn into ten pages.

This place is enjoyable because of real life stories that you can find in books, magazines, or 'reality' TV. So tell stories, and let people editorialize about them. Do not use this forum to think out loud. We have paper for that.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Good points Phyzzle. Iqqi, the only time a guy lies and doesn't even know why he is would be if he is a congnial, pathological or habitual liar. Most men know when they're lying and know in general why they're lying, i.e., because they correctly or incorrectly believe it is advantageous to them. That's the answer to your general question.

You gave very vague and limited context to your question. When you mentioned your female friend, what she was basically saying is the guy was a pathological liar. Which may or may not be true. But based on what you presented I said I thought your friend was full of it.

Men, we lie all the time.

You know what a man's lie is like?
A man's lie is like, ''l was at Tony's house.

''l'm at Kenny's house.'' That's a man's lie.

A women's lie is like, ''lt's your baby.''

We've all heard that one

-''lt don't even look like me.''
-''He's got your hat.''

That's right. Who the biggest liars?
Women the biggest liars.

What I don't understand is how a lie from one gender is somehow different than the other, it's one of those questions that apply to all people, period. The only answers she seems to agree with are ones that describe some hypothetical guy that lies because he's a weak a-hole or something. I just have a hard time taking a question like this seriously when we all know why we lie about things in our lives and I'm pretty damn sure every poster here has lied and will lie again.

What's this whole "I'm so naive I don't know why men lie" thing about? More man-bashing? I'd expect this kind of question from someone much younger.

People lie because they are weak and fearful, they do not have the internal strength to deal with the consequences of telling the truth, unless the consequences are painless. Almost everyone lies that is why most do not get my respect, I know they are weak, I do not have time for emotional cowards and weaklings.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
