OP, its the internet. On the internet people can be rude without consequence and thus feel free to do so. In real life most of these people would keep their mouths shut rather than face public scorn or a beat down for being rude to the wrong person.
Also, do realize its about moderating too. The moderation team here seems to allow a fair bit of immaturity and flaming that I dont see allowed on some other forums I frequent. It really depends on the message board. The atmosphere is different depending on the audience and moderation team.
That said, I do agree the Mature Man section should be a bit more mature. But at the end of the day, like TheStig said, you shouldnt really give a damn. Its the internet, these people dont matter, and they likely wouldnt dare disrespect you in the same way during a face to face conversation.

Yet the guys who speak like "alphas" to other men in real life, are the guys who end up beaten up rather quickly. Thats what Ive seen happen to dudes with big disrespectful yappers. In reality, youre not being alpha, but just a rude jerk-off. If the way some guys speak on this forum was so "alpha" Id see them being leaders of men and layers of women in the real world. In actuality, I see rude tards getting their asses kicked or people avoiding talking to them.
A man can be confident, stern, blunt, while getting his point across and still being respectful. Being a rude troglodyte only gets you so far. Which is why you see so much more of that behavior on the internet and not in the real world. People who react like you have are not taken too seriously off the internet.
