It's just the ultimate thrill for them. It gives them the high that they live for. Let that be enough explanation as to 'why'.
Just remember that you can use it to your advantage. Make their heads spin with C&F. Tell them to stop hitting on you/touching you because you’re not a piece of meat for their every sexual whim, etc. etc.
Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Really, it depends on what type of teasing you're talking about. If it's verbal teasing, then it's most likely because they want to get your attention. The best response to this is to tease them back playfully and not take it personally, then it will remain playful.
However, if it's d*ckteasing (definition: baiting a man along using his false hope of obtaining sexual gratification) then the best way to stop it is to walk away.
