Why do women react by far the most to travel and food?

We guys have interests and hobbies / careers that are interesting and provide opportunity for growth, learning and specialisation. I have an interesting side career, but rarely get females to react to that side of me (with a few exceptions). Mostly, women react to the things I post from travels or food, for whatever reason. Are they shallow or is it because they relate more to that? Have you also experienced this?

In OLD at least they certainly post about wanting to travel and eat great food. This is posted by “strong, intelligent, independent” woman - but I guarantee that they’d expect their matches to pay as much of it as possible. I have no reason to believe the non OLD using population of females do not feel exactly the same way.

Travel = luxury and money as well, it’s again provisioning - only the best earners can provide it.

Social status (and the recognition of it), is everything to women with such things such as for example restaurants, travels conveys that image of higher status to her female friends and the social circle they are in. One must remember that the competition between chicks is extremely fierce where they always battle of who is the hottest, got the hottest bf, highest wealth etc. all to piss of their girlfriends. It never fricking stops.

Like they say: Bytches hate bytches; there are no real friendship between women. they lack the real friendship bonds that we guys (often), share with each other on real higher level where we can be friends for life with another bro.
They are always competing for the best resources/highest social status within their social group which is probably why they are so addicted to social media such as Instra, snap , TikTok etc. where they can flaunt their social status to the world, (but especially to their female social circle itself).

Solution: Filter for women that makes money so you can do it together.

I like to travel and have interesting cuisines, who doesn't? Fancy restaurants and bars are fun, the crowd is so much better. None of the girls I've been with expect to go there or travel and/or have me pay for it. It's something I enjoy doing.

On here, we simply lump women into a category that are solely looking for providers. Of course they are, it's evolution. However, don't get stuck in the mindset. It's understandable that a lot of women are like that, and you might have had a bad relationship with one. I'll put on my white knight armor and state that not all women are like that.

Idealistically, travelling and exotic food make you an interesting and adventurous person who has lived an exciting life.

I have seen women sacrifice a lot to travel. I know one that can't keep a job because she like to travel too much... I know women that have $30k in debt taking trips they can't afford... I know women that stay with men that they really do not love because he has money to to keep her on the move on vacations... Traveling has also been a bigger annoyance since 9/11 because the airport and airplane experience has gotten worse. For me, 9/11 happened when I had just reached adulthood so I remember traveling pre-9/11 with my parents. Travel was better in the 1980-September 10, 2001 era.

There is some value in the experiences of travel and the pictures you can get, either printed (pre-cell phone era) or now on a smartphone/social media.

If you traveled between 1980-9/10/2001, most things were less crowded because populations were lower then and there was a less obsession around travel, which internet and social media have helped to create. There were travel magazines in the 1980s-1990s, but the travel magazines in those era didn't push out as much travel content as social media platforms and internet websites can push out today.

With attractions being more crowded and travel itself being less pleasant, most trips aren't worth it. A lot of vacation experiences can be had by watching YouTube videos about any destination.
