"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Why do we feel better one day and worse the other

Hi

In the beginning of this week I felt good. I got into a situation with one of my bosses and sort of flirted with her and it worked (to be clear this situation happened because I felt good, I didn't feel good because it worked).

But the last two days I feel worse again. Nothing special happened, I just have very low confidence again. If the same situation with my boss would occur, I would probably say nothing.

Why does this happen? We all have better and worse days, but perhaps if we know why this occurs, we can minimize them or hopefully even eliminate them.

Thanks

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

On occasion I wake up in a mood but I'm typically positive and upbeat.

The easy answer is a chemical imbalance somewhere leading to ups and downs. The longer answer is potentially missing vitamins, minerals and cofactors required for the production of these chemicals at times

Always be joking!!! Make people smile, even if you're not having a good day! Even if you're having a bad day, it will feel better if you're constantly in that frame of mind! Make it automatic!

I'm completely uninterested in any stuff people have to say. Just earlier today, I excused myself from a work party because I just didn't feel like talking to anybody (including girls). I know most of the guys and consider them boring. I kinda wanted to talk to the girls but they would probably be boring too.

That's how I feel on a bad day.

Why did you make this thread, why is this a problem? There's a contradiction; you feel like you don't want to be social. But in truth you set your goal to be more social. It's almost like you wanna force yourself to have fun.

Or perhaps there's an opportunity but you're not in the mood. You conflict with your feelings, because you are afraid of missing it; maybe there are not enough opportunities in your life?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I believe it has a lot to do with what your mind has been processing all night in your dream states. When it's heavy stuff, you wake up with a heavy, depressed feeling. When it's lighter stuff or something that has actually been sufficiently processed and resolved, you wake up feeling positive and confident.

Everything and everybody has cycles they move through. no reason you can't use that as a positive. that's when hobbies interests and project balance a man's life. on the days when you are not feeling the party go workout learn a language read a good uplifting book, work on your pad etc.

socialising broadens your mind but alone time deepens it. you don't want to become like a river that is a mile wide and an inch deep. the main thing is to have solid interests that are worth your time and consistently work at them. E.g. I m learning Chinese. not easy - will I ever become fluent probably not. however I like Chinese girls I like many aspects of the culture I like Chinese food and I ve studied Chinese martial arts. so there's enough gold there that it's worth shoveling the rocks. there is a good sosuave thread on manly hobbies if you would like some ideas. For a young guy I d say sports should be high on the list. it's easy socializing, you are incidentally working on your body and it's been proven to combat depression plus you will be learning something about a field of human endeavour. I can't talk bball but I know it is a language
