She is protecting her child. You should admire her for that. Now...if you two were in a COMMITTED relationship and if you two were together for let's say 6 months (or more) and she STILL has not introduce you to her child...then, that's a different story.

I think this is a case is over thinking.

1. She wants to know how your Dad is.

2. She doesn't hate you. (But the relationship days are over.)

I see no reverse psychology, forward psychology, or any manipulation here. She just said, "how's your Dad; keep in touch (but not that kind of touch)." She most likely didn't think about it at all. And neither should you. Just tell her you're doing fine. There's nothing to see here. Move along.
