"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

invest in, finically and emotionally, an unstable alcoholic/ addict? I'm talking about a well educated, responsible type of girl. What, she wants to save you so that you owe her for life or something? Or so she can fix you and mold you into what she wants?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

My only thoughts are it's a challenge & nurturing side of them. What they are attracted to makes no sense half the time, as long as that attraction and love for that person exist. More than likely they are in fact themselves unstable alcoholic/addict.

A few reasons:

They fall in love with the guy's "potential". Through either deception, half truths, or just outright lies, the guy may have convinced her that he is capable of so much more, if only he had the right girl to motivate him.

They think they can "fix" him or "be that really awesome girlfriend that he hasn't ever had". She recognizes his flaws, but instead of blaming these flaws on the guy (which is where the blame belongs), she blames it on those around him. "It's his mother's/father's fault he's this way!" or "His ex was a terrible person, and she made him like this".

She hasn't yet learned the lesson that "you cannot fix an adult". Smart girls are incredibly self motivated. They want something, they work for it. They think that losermen can be motivated. They can't be motivated for a woman. Or if they are, it's not the type of motivation that lasts. It's only temporary. "Oh, of course I'll stop drinking for you!" *three days later* "This beer is my reward."

Probably the closest she's gonna get to men of the past in as far as a greater chance of these type of men telling her to stfu when she acts childish and higher likelihood of banging other chicks if and when she drops the ball.
Something she's starved of in a sea of dependable manginas.

That and the cathedral bombarding her 24/7 that loyal, hardworking joes (today's betas) are yesterday's news.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Hold up, so you're saying being hardworking and reliable (in a sense, not reliable as in "always there") is a turn off? Seems like a quality more suited to highly unstable women. This hardly seems the case. Most women I know and the few I've dated who follow or have previously followed the fixxer-upper route seem to be shells of human beings themselves, not worth much of anything. Don't get me wrong, being a ***** is unattractive, nobody like a pansy. But, if being a lethargic bum with serious flaws is what all women want, I've been living my life and going about following my goal all the wrong way, at least in the terms of being attractive.

I wouldn't say they are a turn off per se. However her own disposable income, guaranteed wealth distribution from big daddy alpha government if and when she needs it, combined with 4 decades of unchecked hypergamy and the glorification of the "cad" assures those qualities are no longer prized. At least among pre-wall women.

Chick Logic 102 - Fall 2013 Semester

He only has "potential" because he's some combination of tall/handsome/strong jaw/muscular/broad shouldered, etc.

If he has the look, he has the "potential" in the career department (and thus LTR potential) even if he is jobless. He is a worthy fix-it project.

If he doesn't have the look, there is no such thing as "potential." He better have the success and $$$ now. He is not a worthy fix-it project.

Pink is probably correct that he's a good BS artist with regard to turning his life around. But the only reason she tolerates his BS is because of his looks and hot sex. The chick with this type of guy is thinking with her vag.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I don't understand the whole "fix men" idea, but it seems to be true. This might explain why I have gotten a lot of female attention at times when I was fed up and got really whiney and complaining about my love life. It's a total beta attitude so from what they say here it should repel them, but like you say, they seem to want to fix you. Maybe it's a nurturing thing, I don't know.
