I have trouble believing this. I think everyone may want attention to a certain extent, but males want it less. Women seem to need it to stay sane. A woman could never handle not being validated all the time like men are forced to because of current societal trends to favor the woman.

Why do guys like boobs?

It's useless to try to decipher the "WHY", but it's useful to understand that it "just is", specially when it's concerning illogical and emotional creatures like women.

Although I was mainly joking with my "They come that way from the factory" line, my subtle point was this. Thanks Kailex.

Why spend time, money and effort on things that 1) I can't change or 2) are not going to help me advance in life?

I'd rather be having fun with girls than trying [too hard] to understand them.

My answer to the original question would be that girls love attention because they are ingrained to compete for female dominance, and the measuring stick for that is male attention.

The answer is that:

1) They are massively insecure and tend to fall apart emotionally if they don't get attention.

2) As I mentioned before, they have the mentality of children. There's no getting around it. They generally have to be treated like children.
