Regardless, Ranger Mike already nailed this. It isn't about the money. It is about what it represents: mobility. The man with money has the power to do things that those who do not can't. That is attractive to women at their base instinctual level.

Richard, from what I gather, had a lot personal issues. I think he lives in South Beach and his parents have a lot of $$$. He assumed he could spend his way to a females heart.. Doesn't work like that. He had/has a lot of personal issues.. He needs professional help. Not a bad dude, just a little lost in life.

Ironically many of them are very wealthy due to the land they own that has skyrocketed in value nowadays and it causes them a lot of distress because they don't want to be.
