"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

So I went to this party at my friend's spot tonight and then me and my boy went to the bars real quick. We got real nice there and went back to the party. We were having a good time there, and this girl pulled me in and was like "let's dance". I was like alright, so we started dancing. We got pretty close, I was feeling her legs and stuff and she moved my hands up cause her friends were around. Her friends went upstairs and she stayed with me. We danced some more then her friends came back and she said she was going to another party and someone was driving her. I asked "does that mean I cannot come?". She said "no...i don't know if we can fit all of us in the car". I was like "oh I see." But when she was leaving i grabbed her hand and she started leading me outside but let go of my hand when we had to cross a bunch of people. I let go and went outside with her but stayed on the porch with my friends. I tried to play hard to get and she left. Why did I **** up so bad? I just cannot pull through with a random hookup. Dammit!

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

"Does that mean I cannot come?" shudder..
Grabbing her hand after knowing you won't be going with her? shudder..

It comes across as desperate, clingy.. weak..

Where exactly where you playing hard to get? ;o)

Care less next time - if she is going elsewhere, forget it. Stop right there before you make a fool of yourself.. you didn't even know the girl, why tag her so much worth/value right away? Surely there was other chicks at the party giving you looks.

Trouble is, if they had seen your behaivour toward her (the clingy needy part) they would of rejected you all night long after that performance. ..and they certainly wouldn't of missed it. They see everything!

The Muscly Jerk

P.S. I really didn't want to mention the part where you let her lead you off like a puppy just before she let go in front of a bunch of people..ouch that's gotta hurt!

P.P.S. Really, next time care less about some random chick you met at a party who was going elsewhere. Unfortunately it all seems so easy and makes so much more sense the morning after.

Agree 100% with musclyjerk! To be honest she sounds a bit of a cling-on too! Grabbing you to dance etc, seems she was just using you to pass the time. She most likely did the same at the other party with some other guy!
