"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

The reason chicks wouldn't date you nor care if other chicks tell them you're a good guy is because in their minds they feel if you are that much of a "catch" the other chicks wouldn't tell them how good you were. They'd try to keep her away from you and go for you for themselves.

So the next time you think chicks are doing you a favor by telling other chicks what a cool guy you are. Think again. If they really thought you were so "cool" they'd step over their "friends" to get you all for themselves.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Agreed, somewhat. Girls telling friends that you're a "nice guy" is a turn off for most of them. I think it's kind of like they're speaking code. "Yeah, James is a nice and sweet guy." aka, I use him and abuse him. He buys me stuff and treats me like a princess. Only date him as a rebound or if you're looking to get back at your ex.. Etc..

Now, "He is such an as$hole.." on the contrary, arouses suspicion and curiosity. Much more effective to be labeled an as$hole than a nice guy.

True.

But women are also picking up on what is NOT being said. If the guy was good looking and/or had a high powered job ($), that would have been mentioned FIRST.

By not hearing anything about his looks or money and just hearing that he's a "good guy," she will immediately jump to this conclusion: ugly and low paycheck.

When she tries to set you up with a female friend but tells you NOTHING about her except "She's really nice," what comes to mind?

She's fat and/or has three kids.

I know that sounds terrible but that's how people think.

Agreed. It works both ways. Likewise if you have nothing interesting to comment about some guy/girl, you'd obviously call them 'nice' regardless.

Nice = I don't find you interesting enough.

If there's a third party involved (aka the messenger), there's gonna be some skeptical thoughts. A girl that wants you will find a way to get you.

Case closed.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I'm basically not even talking about chicks telling other chicks you're "nice" necessarily. I'm talking about them talking positively of you in general to another chick. In any situation like that the chick will think: "Well if he's so great why aren't YOU going after him and trying to cut me out?" If the same chick hears nothing about you yet SEES her friends fighting each other to get to you...then she becomes much more "interested" in "Who is that guy?" Unless of course you look good looking as hell then it won't matter as even if your game was on the weak end she'd still go for it.

Partially agree. If the woman in question is already attracted, its a huge bonus. But typically she would be the one asking about you - then getting feedback from there. Otherwise, yea, doesnt matter.
