Why can't I let go of BPD ex

Yeah failed again.

BTW this is a 100% diagnosed, had some therapy, medicated, suicide attempts the whole deal.

I KNOW the drill, ended up getting almost suckered into another recycle with her but luckily she flared up pretty quickly so I gtfo but im left with that drained feeling you always get.

My problem is that after a while of NC I tend to forget what she's really like and so when she comes calling I talk to her and before you know it you are in the dream land again.

I end up reading stuff on the BPD family forum and feeling sorry for her and that she's not just a souless monster.

I can't have NC because I work with her.
