"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I am going to college in August and am very much looking forward to it. I am going to a major university that is known for having beautiful women, therefore I am very excited. Since I am posting in the "Mature Man" forum, I am hoping for advice from DJ's who have been there and done significant reflection on there times and growth in college. Typically through HS I have have basically not had girls be apart of my life, but as of recently I have been trying to change that. I think my best opportunity is ahead of me while going to a college where I know no one and can be the me who I want to be. Well I don't know if it is really that easy, to up and change as soon as soon as I step on that plane heading for college in August, so I am trying to go as much ground work for then now. I have access to the DJ Bible and Most of David Deangelo's stuff and I have been spending much time improving myself and building my confidence and owe much to this site for my gains. Basically what I am asking to all you older guys is What should I do that worked for you in college that made your sex life or just life in general better, also what do you wish you would have done in college that I should take advantage of. Any thoughts, reflections, or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

My first piece of advice would be that, as a freshman, don't expect people to be socially warm with you based on tactics and attitude. In other words, if you notice people being a little cold, it's not because you're doing anything wrong. Just don't expect the social welcome wagon full of chicks and invites to parties to knock on your door.

Be pro-active and as social as you can with other freshmen, especially in your dorm. Don't aim for women straight away. Just get a social circle going. You'll make friends with upper classmen (& women) soon enough.

Leave your dorm room door open if you're hanging out there. Let people see you're there. Give people the opportunity to peek in and say hi.

Word, make freinds with those that live in your dorm. Also, hit up high traffic areas around your campus, such as the cafeteria during lunchtime. When I was in school, I made a lot of friends that way just by sitting somewhere and waiting for someone to sit down next to me. It's an easy way to bump into women.
