tommorow i was going to purchase a pair of dumbbells to carry on the progress ive been making lately and was wondering what size dumbells i should get.

bare in mind im not looking to be body builder i just want my body to be shaped so im on a 150 pushups and 100 dips a day and the dumbells would just accelerate the process. i was thinking maybe 5kg or 10 and if you could also advise a workout routine which combines pushups dips and dumbells into one training set then i would appreciate it very much :D

Do you have plans for what type of movements you'll be doing with them? Usually people end up getting several pairs (or adjustibles) to give more training options. If you only ever plan to have one, I'd go with the heavier ones to allow compound moves like rows/presses and you could eventually transition into isolation moves when those got too easy (or get heavier ones and keep doing compound).
