where to incorporate plyometrics

i am going to start working out with the idiots workout routine but also wanted to increase my vertical and wanted to know when i could incorporate plyometrics i heard the best results come from both weight training and plyometrics to increase vertical.

I heard powerlifters have the highest average verticle jump out of all the athletes including basketball players.

I don't know anything about jump training, but I think sprints would be a good exercise to take up for that. Developes explosive power.

i mean where in the week can i put them? like the same days im lifting weights or the days in between?
