"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Where is the line between building value and bragging?

Good to be here. I came upon this forum recently and have been browsing for awhile now. I'm a mid-twenties AFK with some serious need of help.

While talking to women, I'm always afraid that I've crossed the line from building value in a sort of indirect way and just outright bragging about myself and seeming like an arrogant ass.

Here are some examples of things I think would impress women in no particular order:
1. I exercise quite often and I've been hitting the gym for years (I don't look that buff tho). Basically, I have physical strength.
2. I am an excellent cook. I took professional cooking classes and I cook quite frequently.
3. I'm intelligent. I graduated from an Ivy league school and I am coming close to finishing med school.
4. I have an excellent sense of humor. This, however, doesn't come across that well initially because I'm nervous on the initial approach.

Obviously I want to build as much value as possible in a short period of time before trying to ask a girl out on a date or get her number. How would I work something positive like being a doctor into the conversation effectively or should I even put something like that into the conversation at all?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Quite frankly, a woman doesn't want to hear about you, she'll be bored if you talk about yourself.. ask her about HERSELF and then she'll ask you about you. simple really.

You don't have to sell yourself. She'll get to find out your traits if she's interested enough.

Selling yourself smacks of desperation-to-impress in my humble, non-DJ opinion.

The line is just before she suspects you're bigging yourself up. The ideal man doesn't have to try too hard.
