I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

I just moved in with my LTR girlfriend of two years. I waited until I secured a new job before making the move. My job requires me to travel a lot and I am never working in the same city. However, on my time off I am back in the city that I moved to with my girlfriend for a couple of days or few weeks before returning to work.

I’ve never moved to a new state before. So far I’ve only met a few of my girlfriend’s friends (mostly female). I made the mistake of no longer actively meeting new people after getting into a LTR. As of now my social skills are not the greatest when it comes to meeting new people and I often come off as socially awkward (aka creepy, especially around women). I’d like to make both female and male friends of my own that are not associated with my girlfriend’s friends. I am obviously no longer a college student, but I am living in a large college town so there are plenty of young people here within my age range. I’d appreciate any helpful tips/ideas for meeting new people.

Work, bars, and through friends are where the majority of people meet their friends. I guess there are hobby-oriented places too like the gym or playing basketball.

For those of us who are a bit more socially awkward there are classes at the local community college and meetup groups. Check them out.
