"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

So, I'm going out with this girl and I'm discovering I like her a lot.
Don't worry, I do feel like in love but I'm not acting AFC, not even one bit.

But, I'm fearfull of falling in love, I fear I might act AFC and scare her away (again, so far so good, still making fun of her, not taking crap, etc).

I don't know what to do... like, I feel now that falling in love is somehow WRONG and should be negated... But I also think that's pretty stupid, I enjoy how I feel about her....
The questions, the doubts...

What do you guys think? Is it wrong to FEEL it if you don't act afc or not..?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

To her you sound as depressing as a Carl Thomas Album, when all in relaity all girls, want to just have fun.

(Background Guy: Leeeeaaave me alone)

One day after all the rejections, you will someday learn that the common demonator between all of the bad women and you, is you....

(Background guy: I belieeeeeve I can change)

Because she lied to you when she said she was going to a party last night... she was the party last night"

So AFC that falls in love to q uickly, we salute you...

lol, in all seriousness dude... love isn't tangable...

You can't prevent yourself from being in love...

ON that note, If you have to ask yourself if you are in love, you aren't..

Of course, this is coming from someone who knows he hasn't been in love with anyone.

Well these guys give good advice but I had this happen to me before and the consequences are not good. When you start to be all mushy in love with her she will either get less attracted to you(if she doesent feel the same as you) OR she will feel the same and you will both be happy. But love does not happen over night. Of course your gonna feel all good in the beginning but over time that may change. The biggest test for love is TIME.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I completely understand where you're coming from. Personally, I fear the four letter word.

(enter cheap waynes world type flashback)

It all started when she said the words. "Derek, I..." (pause) "I love you". Without even thinking, I replied: "I love you". So, now we're in love. Which means, this isn't a game anymore, right? So, what's my next move? All the advice I've ever recieved on the subject said that when you're in love you can be whoever you are and not worry about what your partner thinks because you know they love you. I could say whatever I feel, do whatever I want, even show her my sensative side... Right?

Then she started ****ing my best friend.

(exit flashback with the sound of a crash)

So, I promised myself that I would never fall in love again. Months later a girl came along, and I started getting those feelings again. So, I pushed her away. And ever sense, I've been pushing women away the minute I start getting feelings for them.

In other words, I'm the wrong person to be giving advice on love and I'll quit now. :)
