"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I'm feeling a little depressed right now. I've been greatly improving my "macking" skills, partly in thanks to the tips on this board. To girls I've never seen before, I can flirt with them and get them to like me pretty easily. The thing is, though, unless I see this girl who LEGITIMATELY want to go out with (hb 8 or above), I don't want to ask them out. Also, there's this girl at my school who I've had a crush on for a few months now...before, I think you could call it "one-itis." Now that I've brushed up on my skills, though, and I'm not afraid to mack on other girls, I think of her now as just "special." I don't know if that makes sense, or if that should happen to a "DJ." I just know that no matter what I do, I feel a strong attraction for this girl. She's not exactly HOT but she's cute and smart and all that good stuff.

But...she thinks of me as a "friend." When asked (not by me) if she could see herself going out with me, she said "I don't know....maybe...." When asked if I was cute, she said, "I guess....."

It should also be mentioned that she used to have a crush on me (last year) but I wasn't in to her. Now I think she's something really special. It hurts that no matter what I do, I can't get out of that friend zone....I'm attracted to other girls but she's really at the TOP of my list.

I'm sorry if I'm an AFC but that's just the way I'm feeling. My question is, where do I go from here?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

am I the only one who thinks this is ******** for "I like him a lot...but I'm not going to just tell that to everybody because he only thinks of me as a friend."

Ask her out.

oopps. lol

that changes alot

yes, she likes you. yes, she would go out with you. but theres this little issue of the 6'1 280 lb bag of muscle she's undoubtably dating ;)

it mostly depends on how much she likes her boyfriend. if she really does like him, your chances are slim. if she likes him a little less then alot, then just play her up and she'll get closer. if she ever says anything implying that she likes you, just point out that her boyfriend is obviously getting in the way of her uncontrollable love for you ;)

good luck

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Guys, guys, guys..

Where has everyone's morals gone? Don't mess with the girl if she has a boyfriend. I mean geez, you wouldn't want some chump coming along calling your girlfriend every time of the day, trying to steal her from you now would you? I mean it's different if she's is about to or already has broken up with the guy, but if she's in a serious relationship with someone, don't mess with it. Let it be. There are TONS and I mean TONS of other available girls out there. Try your luck elsewhere. The only reason you're having these feelings right now is because you regret not asking her out when you had the chance; When she was actually into you.
