JUST TELL HER! In my experience, "being a mystery" is not only counterproductive to the interaction... it prevents you from finding out if you two can have a real, meaningful connection. I recommend expressing all the time, as often as possible.
Or even better, make her trade her age for your age.. like digit by digit or something.
If you're young, start telling her stories like busting about how you're still in the cradle. Or if you're old, tell her stories like, "I can't believe my memory started to go at age 23. Just the other day I met this girl on the bus, she told me her name, and I forgot after five seconds! I felt so embarrassed... I was staring at this necklace which had her name on it, but in really complicated cursive for two straight minutes of the conversation trying to dechipher it... she must have thought I was staring at her boobs. Which in between letters, I sort of was. She had this v-cut t-shirt (by the way I'm hardwired to think boobs are really cool)..."
