"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Last night a new girl started gushing romance and I sent what seemed like a relatively neutral reply.

I saw this morning that she had replied late by saying "I am sort of put off by this..."

My reply? Did I respond with an apology like "I'm sorry baby please forgive me I promise to change?"

No. Apologizing only makes a copy of whatever you are trying to undo.

Instead, I responded "Ok, well we are obviously not a good match if something like that put you off...".

I quickly received a huge apology from her about how she totally understands now and was ready to see me. She sent 20 texts planning our date for tomorrow.

Try this next time instead of apologizing.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Agree with the message, to apologize with women is a sure way to make the mess bigger cause it reinforce and confirms the problem (wheter it exists in their minds only or in reality).

A well faked reframe is the best solution in most cases and not only with women, few are the ones who accept and value sincere apologies so dont bother.

"Sorry I was wrong" becomes I own you something or you will be right anytime from now on in the average woman mind.

"There was a misurderstanding" is already a better option since there are no guilty parts.

I'm personally convinced that it is RARELY EVER necessary or helpful for a DJ to apologize.
I'm very good at this when it comes to plates and girlfriends. "Sorry" to me (when apologizing is necessary) is an action word and expressed through actions rather than words. Besides relating to being a DJ, my personal philosophy is that if you're sorry it implies you regret your behaviour, and if you regret your behaviour than you are unable to learn and grow from it.

However, being Canadian, I have ingrained in me to say "sorry" at very trivial times such as if someone walks in my way (or I walk in their way) and also to say "sorry?" if I need someone to repeat something lol

Well handled.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Very very true.
