"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

When did you realize that you're OLD

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Ok guys.... 35th birthday coming up feeling older and like this is the home stretch to have a good time while I still have the last lingering youth in my body.
Going through the 'reflection of my life' stage at the moment. And how the past decade has just seemed like a blur. Probably due to listening to some old music and realizing that it is now ten (or more) years old.

One thing is I have had a lot of responsibility thrust on me both business and personal wise, that I have lost touch with whatever dream I had before of what I wanted out of life. Don't get me wrong life is pretty good but it feels as if I'm not living it to the fullest, or missing a piece of the puzzle.
There is so much I want to do, but I currently feel like I'm using the 'too many responsibilities' excuse to hold me back (don't get me wrong I do have a lot). I just don't want to get to 46 and look back on another decade of blur.

Any advice from the older guys on what they would do if the could live 35 over?

I still mentally feel and look pretty young, but my body begs to differ.. after getting a microdiscectomy following a severely herniated disk acquired while training muay thai, I relaized.. my body could no longer keep up..

my back is a constant struggle now, keeps me in check, and definitely makes me feel physically old.

Dear HitHard,
Looking back,i can honestly say I hit my peak, certainly sexually and Work wise at 37.....I did a silly thing at 39 I got married, under duress,I was living with a lovely Girl, slipped up on Birth Control, and had a lovely daughter....Got quite attached to this kid,who is now a gender equity Officer in a big Government Department, whatever that means, probably should have been strangled at birth (Smile)...So Girlfriend disappears, goes back to Mother, comes back without Kid,but complete with Ultimatum, marry or else!!!eventually I capitulated, but at least I wrung a Pre Nuptial out of Her!!!...On reflection,if I had a rewind button I would have gone my own way,for this lovely daughter...Yeah it was better for her,but none the less that is what I would do....HitHard,you are just coming into your own, believe me it gets better as you get older....just eat well, exercise and do your Kegals.

Don't wait. If there's something you want to accomplish, do it now.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Take some time off and do the things you want to do. You can die behind a desk later....but are you going mountain climbing at age 70?

I'll be 32 in a couple of months and things are just getting good. I feel like I've finally become "a man". Taking control of my life, my career and leaving behind all the insecurities and petty things that don't matter and replacing them with wisdom, experience and an overall well balanced mental outlook. Life is only getting better!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
