That is the epitome of PVSSY whipped. And is a sure fire way to get your mind warped, and begin a downward spiral all the way back to AFC ville.

I agree with the rest of your post, but how does this even compute? If you have a sh!tload of core confidence etc. you won't be mulling over and trying to micromanage every detail of your actions, this would be insecurity. If you mean that he should stop being insecure and become confident, well I'd say it's better to try and not give a fvck, at first you lie to yourself that you don't care, but then you really don't.
