Always avoid the question in situations like these with a grin. Change the subject - if she presses you on it say "it's nothing serious" or "I value my independence" then ask what's for lunch.

All above are excellent responses. Make a joke about it, keep it light and funny... if she keeps pushing, just keep joking. If she get's ticked off and pitches a fit, then move on, because you don't want to be with a gal that is too serious and doesn't know how to have some fun.
