"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I just keep meeting them everywhere... living on the edge, or already toppled off it. You never see men getting so broken down over our choices. NEVER.

I've had this one client for years-- cute, fun, flirty, but she had a live-in boyfriend taking pretty good care of her. I never wanted to move on her, because he was a cool guy, and I didn't want to get between them. He died last year, after a long and miserable bout with colon cancer. She's got some habits I don't care for-- tobacco, and vodka with her morning o.j., but I couldn't stop dreaming about the taste of her pousse'!
So, now I'm spending serious time with her, and she's another hardcase-- greeted me Sunday, in tears. Her world's falling apart, she desperately just needs a man to hold her and let her bawl her eyes out. My hopes for a pump-and-dump evaporate. I'd feel like I'm betraying a friend-- which is right, since we've known each other so long. There's no possible way I can fix anything in her life. I can't walk away, either. We sleep together but haven't even fncked yet and she's already thinking of having me move in! Wrong-- Her house looks like it's from American Hoarders, before the crews arrive. She's gotta fix her life herself, because I can't do it for her. Well-- She can't, either.
One more discovery I made-- she smokes meth. It's why she's got teeth missing? It doesn't exactly rule her life, but at this point, I'd never tell her to quit, because it's probably the last thing keeping her going.

My last romance ended because she needed to simplify her chaotic life, so she began with me. She was the gorgeous yuppie suburban executive-trophy (ex)wife, professional architect/cheerleader mom who rides horses with her galpals. I saw her last week, and she looked like she was in pain. I'd like to ask her how things have gotten better, since she dumped me. Her friends refuse to talk about her around me.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

not surprising

this is the dark side of feminism writ large...women who are hot enough to play the hypergamy cards hit the wall at 40 and then the house of cards fall apart

for a woman with no man, no ability to get a man = life is over

women are forever children and cannot live independent lives...those who do are shrewlike masculine resentful sociopaths...women need men to guide them and nurture them all through life...because women never mature mentally past the age of 14...never....a man must own is woman body, and soul and under the law in all aspects....but this pillar will never be in the west until the central banks crumble...then we begin anew.

in our present 'modern' age unfettered misandric feminism is the way of things...governments rule men's lives as they allow women to play the hypergamy cards with only men having to bear the consequences....expect more broken, forlorn, aging women to come....more pump and dump opportunities for the willing; no wife material whatsoever.

You're giving her what she wants and you're not even getting laid? My friend, you gotta put #1 first. Get what you want, as up front as possible, and maybe you can give her some of what she wants.

Ross Jeffries has good advice-- Always leave a woman in better shape than you found her. This one's such a hot mess, having secks would only make her worse. Plus, it would leave her clinging on me. She's made it obvious, she's not into fnck-and-run-- she wants a stickaround man.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

THat's terrible advice. This is a human being, not a goddam campsite you have to police before you leave. Following that advice is beta as fvck and white knightish as hell. A better saying would be, don't do any intentional harm. You can't make anyone better who doesn't want to be. All you can do is be kind in a rationally self interested sort of way. Which means that if it is gonna drag you down, the kindest thing you can do is just leave.

Also, as meth played a key role in ruining my last serious relationship.... RUN MUTHA****A RUN! Any chic who's friends with Tina is no friend of mine.

Christian sympathy-- yeah, I like how that sounds. This dame just turned 51, I'm 58... I've stopped being judgemental anymore; it doesn't change things or do any good.

How is it beta white knight? Only a guy who has options can "afford"(or more easily afford) to not use damaged women for sex. There's nothing wrong with helping people. Ultimately, he is implying the same strategy as you anyway: don't have sex with her.
There is a difference between helping people and helping people help themselves.

It's an empty platitude. To the AFC mindset it's a reinforcement of the same mindset. Your job is not to improve anyone but yourself, this goes for men and women. It's a statement that can easily be misconstrued. I see guys who whine and lament over the lack of appreciation they get after they have done so much to "make her better". It's bad writing and bad advice.

And still no one else is calling this guy out for dabbling with a meth head. No judgement indeed.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Just wanting to get laid is what led most of us here. Not thinking it through. Now you know better. Not worth your time mate.
