What to look for in your 20's?

Just in a reflective mood tonight, what can I look forward to in the next 8-9 years...

I'm 21, planning to graduate college in 2 years. My goal is to break into finance here in Canada or in the States. I'm looking forward to independence and all, but that feeling will get old rather quickly. I just feel like the good times have passed by, when I knew less about the world and when life was simple. After I get out of school, what will become my source of happiness and fulfillment I have no idea. The logical progression is to find the right woman to settle down with, but there's gotta be more to it than that.

Just feeling confused at the moment...can an older DJ enlighten me?

I ain't too much older but this is faggotry. You'll make this life good or bad. You can either follow the rules of the world or make your own. This is the secret of the successful and truely happy. The question is what can the world look forward to from you?

You find vision and goal. You work and work and work for it until you either die or succeed.

And don't let anyone fool you, if you plan on getting married realize that there must be no compromise. She will be your partner for the other half of your life, which God willing, will be a very long period. A good woman will help make you.

Also, learn to enjoy the little and simple things. Watch the sun rise and light the morning clouds on fire, relax with your friends over some good food, read a book with a good drink while it's raining outside. Life is only as amazing as you want it to be.

Lawl you're older than me. Don't even listen to what I'm going to say but I wanted to say it anyway, if just for myself. You're freaking young man. There's a lot for you to learn our there......like a **** ton. The more you learn, the less you will know

1. Don't chase women
2. Don't buy womens' love.
3. Don't get caught up by materialism
4. Don't mass personal debt.
5. Don't become fanatic with 1 group of people.
6. Complete a formal education.

Now besides that you'll just be getting to know thousands of inadequate women just so that you'll be able to recognize an adequate one.

I think the true path of 20s hood (so to speak) is to find one's place/path in life.

Apart from that, it's really subjective. there is IMO no one right way to live.

You've only been an adult for about 3 years and you already know everything there is to know about the world? Think about that one.

Number one thing you must do is internalize that you are responsible for your own happiness. Not your parents, not society, not your friends, not your woman (women), no one else.
